Our Staff
Doctor
Dr. Louis W Cronin , DVM Dr. Louis Cronin has a pharmacy degree from the Univeristy of Kansas. Then he pursured his love for animals with a veterinary degree from Kansas State University. He began his career at the Dwight Veterinary Clinic in 1975. Together with his wife, Lynne, they have raised 3 children. Curtis and Andrew both have graduated from the United States Navel Acadmey and their daughter Julia has graduated from Pepperdine University with a law degree.
Dr. Cronin feels it is very rewarding to be able to provide optimum care for family pets and to service their owner.
Management
Deb Dunlap Deb started her career at the Dwight Veterinary Clinic in 1976. I started my career here as a receptionist. I currently serves as the practice manager/business manger of the Dwight-Pine Bluff-Lakewood Animal Hospitals. My current position allows me to travel to all 3 of our hospitals and co-ordinate and assist in maintaining continuity of daily operations and communications between all the hospitals and their staff. I have enjoyed being a part of our practice as it continues to grow and develope. It is very exiciting as we continue grow and to provide many new services
Together with my husband Cy, we are kept quite busy with our 5 children and 3 grandchildren.
Technician
Dorlene Appleton I have been at the Dwight Veterinary Clinic since 1983 where I started as a groomer. I love helping and taking care of pets. My current duties are: veterinary technician, inventory control for all 3 hospitals and maintenance supervisor.
Together with my husband Keith, we have 2 cats at home that keep us busy. My husband operates a small farm operation of corn and beans and custom bailing.
Lori Marques , CVT I am a certified Veterinary Technician and received my degree from Joliet Junior College in May 2003. I started working at the clinic in May of 2001.
I live in Dwight with my husband Jason and our family consists of 2 dogs and 3 cats. We love skiing, camping and enjoy spending time with our pets.
Sarah Halpin , CVT I joined the practice in 1995. I began my career here as a groomer and then began training as a technician about a month later. I had ran my owne grooming business for 5 years. My training as a technician made me realize how much I enjoyed working with animals and that lead me to obtaining my certification as a veterinary technician.
My husband Scott and I also have a daily and grain farm. We enjoy spending time with our 3 children who are growing up too fast.
Michelle Anderson , CVT I began interning at the Dwight Veterinary Clinic during my senior year in high school and have continued working here since 2001. I graduated as a certified veterinary technician from Joliet Junior College. I also have a pet sitting business and have cared for many different animals such as horses, dogs, cats, ducks and even a turtle.
I recently bought my first home and together with by 2 dogs and 3 cats we are busy trying to renovate and decorate our new surroundings.
Reception
Sue Jorstad I have worked the last 28 years in the medical field of which the last 15 years have been with Dwight-Pine Bluff-Lakewood Animal Hospitals. My main duties are in the receptionist and financial areas.
Sue and her husband Doug have 4 children and 1 granddaughter. As our children have grown we seem to now fill our house with pets including 2 dogs and 6 cats.
Mary Gschwendtner I have worked at the Dwight clinic for the past 18 years. I work mainly in the front office but also assist in all areas when needed.
I live in Dwight with my husband Jim and our son Bradley who is attending Dwight Township High School. I enjoy walking, swimming and following my sons's sporting events.
We have a 6 year old lab "Charlie" and 2 cats "Baby" and "Sassy".
Kennel
Cassie Leonard I am currently enrolled in Dwight High School and am only able to work at the Dwight clinic a few night a week and some weekend. I enjoy spending time and caring for all the pets in the hospital.
Raeann Lowry I am currently a student at the Dwight Township High School. I recently just starting working at the Dwight Veterinary Clinic. I work part time a couple of nights a week and occasional weekends taking care of the different pets that are at the hospital.
Grooming
Sherry Statler I have been with Dwight Veterinary Clinic since 1994. I am currently a lab technician and groomer. Over the years I have had many different duties including maintaining the kennels. I enjoyed working with all the different pets.
I enjoy riding motorcycles and outdoor activities. I have a yellow lab named Tanner. She is a great friend and companion.
